We are proud to be the first region to implement Digital Critical Care STEP Competencies in all critical care units. This achievement provides visibility into the skills of adult critical care nurses, fostering a seamless transfer of skill recognition between organizations. This implementation has not only brought significant improvements for nursing staff and management but also reduced our reliance on paper. Step 1 includes 78 pages of competencies that were previously printed for each nurse starting their career in critical care. This transition to a digital format will greatly enhance efficiency and clarity across the region.
